Intermodal Equipment

If you are a contemporary modeler, intermodal equipment is a must for your model railroad. In the past, this usually meant 85 and 89 foot flat cars which often don't run well on smaller layouts with tight radius curves. With the introduction of double stack technology to the real world of railroading, it seemed a natural for HO scale.

You'll find that A-LINE double stack container cars will run well on virtually any layout. Remember, these products are made by modelers for modelers and are made to run as well as they look!

One of the main concepts behind our kit design is allowing the modeler the flexibility to achieve any level of detail wanted. This is accomplished by:

. Producing just the right amount of kit variations to allow the modeler to choose a configuration without having too many choices.

. Offering undecorated kits and supporting them with our decals, which provides the ultimate variety while keeping the kit cost down.

. Providing "extra detail" kits for the modeler who wants to detail beyond what is supplied with the basic kit. The "extra detail" instructions are even included with the double stack car kits, providing the modeler with still another option to detail to their desired level.

Additionally, you'll find that after bulilding one set, subsequent sets will practically "fall together". You'll never know the satisfaction of assembling and decorating you own model railroad equipment unitil you try it!
